This Privacy Policy explains our principles when it comes to the collection, processing, and storage of your information.

David Haworth will use your data in a number of ways; mostly, to enhance the user experience on this website and to inform future developments. We store and process only the information that is absolutely necessary and will never share your information with third parties.

Contact Form
Our contact form collects the following data: IP address, name, email address, contact phone number and message. The information is submitted to the Akismet service for the sole purpose of spam checking. The actual submission data is stored in the database of this site and is emailed directly to David Haworth. This email will include the submitter’s IP address, timestamp, name, email address, contact phone number, and message. We will not share any of this information with any third parties.

Online consultation form
We ask for your contact details, your: name, phone number, postal address and email address. We will also need information about your age and health in order to form an effective treatment plan. 

These details are vital in order to ensure that it is safe for us to provide the treatments you may ask for and also for insurance purposes. We will store your information for 7 years after the date of your treatment, or for 7 years after you have reached the age of 18 if you are/were under 18 when your treatment took place. Our lawful basis for processing this personal information is ‘contract’, this means that we have a legal reason to ask you for your data because we need it for contractual reasons. You do not have to share your personal data with us, but if you do not we cannot offer you a treatment safely. You must fulfil your side of the contract (share your personal information) in order for us to fulfil ours (carry out a safe and effective treatment).

Marketing
From time to time David Haworth will send information via email, regarding upcoming courses, changes and so on. You are welcome to opt out of these communications at any time by using the unsubscribe option in those communications or by emailing david@davidhaworth.co.uk. You will continue to receive information that is intended only for you.

Protecting our users and our website
In order to check login activity and potentially block fraudulent attempts, the following information is used: attempting user’s IP address, attempting user’s email address or username and all IP-related HTTP headers attached to the attempting user. Failed login attempts are tracked (these include IP address and user agent). Lapsed or unused accounts will be archived or deleted after one year. 

Sharing
Data Used: When sharing our website content via email, the following information is used: sharing party’s name and email address (if the user is logged in, this information will be pulled directly from their account), IP address (for spam checking), user agent (for spam checking), and email content. This content will be sent to Akismet so that a spam check can be performed. 

Payments & commercial services
Data Used: Transaction amount, transaction currency, product title, product price, product ID, order quantity, PayPal or Stripe payer ID, and PayPal or Stripe transaction ID. Activity Tracked: The PayPal or Stripe payer ID, transaction ID, and HTTP referrer are sent with a payment completion tracking event that is attached to the site owner. Because most payments are processed by Stripe, we recommend reviewing its privacy policy.

Cookies
We use cookies to enable a personalised experience for both visitors and registered users. We also utilise cookies for our Site Stats feature. This tallies the unique numbers of visitors to a site, as well as the number from specific geographic locations. A visitor is counted when we see a user or browser for the first time in a given period. If you disable cookies, please be aware that some of the features of our service may not function correctly.
